FreeUIDesigns operates as a free, open-source design resource platform. All resources available on our platform are provided at no cost, with the majority licensed under permissive open-source licenses that allow personal and commercial use.

We explicitly classify our platform as “free and open-source”. However, individual resources may carry specific license terms set by their original creators. Always review the license file included with each download.

Design resources on FreeUIDesigns may be licensed under various terms. Understanding these licenses ensures compliant usage:

• CC0 (Public Domain): No rights reserved. You may copy, modify, distribute, and use the resource for any purpose, including commercial use, without asking permission or providing attribution.

Even with permissive licenses, certain uses are prohibited or restricted:

• Direct Resale: Selling unmodified resources as your own product on marketplaces like Creative Market, Gumroad, or similar platforms.
• Trademark Infringement: Using resources to create logos or brands that infringe on existing trademarks.
• Defamatory Use: Using resources in ways that defame, disparage, or harm the original creator’s reputation.
• Illegal Purposes: Using designs for fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activities (phishing sites, scams, etc.).
• Automated Scraping: Using bots or scripts to mass-download resources for redistribution.
• False Attribution: Claiming authorship of resources you did not create.

FreeUIDesigns respects intellectual property rights. If you are a designer whose work appears on our platform:

• Ownership Retention: Uploading resources to FreeUIDesigns does not transfer ownership. You retain all rights to your original work.
• License Control: You specify the license terms under which your work is distributed (CC0, MIT, etc.).
• Removal Requests: You may request removal of your resources at any time by contacting hi@freeuidesigns.com.
• Attribution Protection: We enforce license terms and ensure users comply with your attribution requirements.
• Derivative Works: Users modifying your work must comply with your license terms (e.g., share-alike requirements).

For Designers Submitting Work:

• You must have legal rights to distribute all elements in your submission (fonts, images, icons).
• You warrant that your submission does not infringe on third-party copyrights or trademarks.
• You grant FreeUIDesigns a license to host and distribute your work according to your specified terms.
• You may update or remove your submissions by contacting our team.

FreeUIDesigns implements quality controls but cannot guarantee perfection for every resource:

• Community Submissions: Resources are submitted by designers worldwide; quality varies by creator experience.
• File Compatibility: We verify files open correctly, but software version differences may cause issues.
• Link Rot: External links within resources (font downloads, stock photos) may become outdated.
• Preview Accuracy: Preview images represent the resource but final files may differ slightly.
• Virus Scanning: We scan all uploads, but users should verify files with their own security software.

Users are responsible for:

• Verifying resources meet project requirements before use
• Checking file compatibility with their design software version
• Scanning downloads for security threats
• Backing up project files before using third-party resources

Design resources may incorporate third-party elements (fonts, stock photos, icons). FreeUIDesigns does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for:

• Fonts used in design files (users must obtain proper font licenses separately)
• Stock photography or illustration assets included in mockups
• Icon sets or graphic elements sourced from external libraries
• Plugin dependencies or design system extensions
• External links to creator portfolios, documentation, or support

We recommend verifying all third-party assets before use in commercial projects. Replace placeholder images and ensure font licenses match your use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FreeUIDesigns and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from resource use
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill from design project failures
• Copyright infringement claims resulting from misuse of resources by users
• Software compatibility issues, file corruption, or data loss
• Claims resulting from third-party assets (fonts, images) included in resources
• Project delays or client disputes related to resource quality or licensing

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if FreeUIDesigns has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

By downloading resources from FreeUIDesigns, you agree to:

• Verify Licenses: Check and comply with the specific license terms of each resource before use.
• Provide Attribution: Credit creators when required by the resource license.
• No Resale: Never sell unmodified resources as standalone products.
